Mach 3 to commandcandc?

Post by Fabricatorjoe »

Hi! Just recently purchased a premeir plase table. It uses mach 3 for table functions. I previously ran an arclight that used command candc, which i loved. Am i able to add this program to my premier table?

Try posting this in the C&CNC forum here on PlasmaSpider https://www.plasmaspider.com/viewforum.php?f=114 and hopefully Tom will have a solution for you.

Short answer is yes, however it's not a matter of downloading the software and be up and running.
You'll have to buy the controller package and switch out the computer (command is linux) and probably motors.
It's certainly doable but if your table is working fine I'd suggest either learn that software or sell it and buy/build what you want

I would call and talk with them directly, most of your electronics will be changed out to match their software. They can say which kit you will need, They may supply you with a manual before to explain the process. There are some members here that use their setup, so you can get questions answered from another source too. I used their older setup years ago and they worked fine.
