Cutting Copper on HPR130XD

Post by brandon350 »

Does anyone have any info on cutting .040 copper on a HPR130XD? I have cut aluminum and stainless but never seen any copper settings or what consumables to use. I am assumming I am going to want to use either nitrogen or a F5 gas. Any input would be appricated.

The aluminum cut specs work well on copper...although you normally need to reduce speed by about 30% and increase arc voltage to maintain the correct physical height. Air/Air process (as used for aluminum) works quite well. There are no published cut specs.
