Just ordered new Torchmate today kinda excited
After 3 months of kicking around finally bit the bullet and ordered the new table 6x14 Torchmate x with oxy/fuel,air scrible, and a new hypertherm 1650. now that ive completely went outside my comfort zone does anyone have a grasp on consumables for this 1650? Ive been told just do fine tip and stick with it. Originally was going to order a 5x10 unit but a last minute change due to quicker delivery more or less made the decision now im on the hunt for a lift that can unload the damn thing.

We run a 1650 on our table.
What do you plan on cutting? We keep Finecut, 40, 60 and 100 amp tips on hand. Our typical cutting ranges from 22 ga. to 3/4".

It will be all over the board but i would say 1/2" and less. Have you ever cut 26 or 28 gauge im working with a guy doing all his cutting for hvac parts and they are assembling the pieces in their shop. Ive been told its hard to accomplish but im thinking high IPM and keep water touching bottom of sheets ill be good. Would you suggest only using fine cut tips?

I've only done 24 ga. and we did that with the finecuts.
I typically run the finecuts up to the 13 ga. we cut. Then I step up from there to the standard amperage nozzles.
On 1/2" we either run the 60 amp or 100 amp nozzles depending on what edge quality we need.
