HELP WITH TRACING

Post by bluelightfab »

I HAVE COREL X7 AND HAVE BEEN TRYING TO TRACE SOME BITMAPS TO DXF AND IT IS TURNING OUT HORRIBLE. IS THERE A WAY TO TAKE A PICTURE THAT HAS PIXELATED EDGES AND MAKE THEM SMOOTH OR IS IT THE PROGRAM I AM USING? THANKS IN ADVANCE

Delete this post and repost in the corel section and probably get lots of help there.. search thru Gamelords post and you will find lots of great help. He is one of the best I have seen with Corel.

Reply and attach the image you are looking to trace. Some images are just not suitable for auto tracing and a more manual trace approach will be needed to convert the image.

I have 11 safety stickers that I need to convert. I'll post them tomorrow but I don't know how to manual trace either. All I know is the auto ouline trace which is almost never helpful.
