Manually cutting plate metal with Mach3

I am trying to cut out a rectangle on 1/2" mild steel. I have only cut out files through Mach3. I cannot figure out how to change the cut settings to cut the 1/2" plate using the arrows on the keyboard. The way it is set up right now, it moves to fast to cut all the way through the metal when I hold down the arrow. Can anyone give me advice on how to change the speed? Thanks!

Go to your Diagnostic tap, and put a lower % in the Jog mode window. Press enter..
