Harbor Freight tubing roller
Who has one? I just got one together from Harbor Freight and everything from Swag Offroad. If you do have one, what are you doing to keep everything rolling straight and true? I tried mine out today with a piece of 1" round, and made a cool looking squiggly. Feel free to share your thoughts and ideas.

We used to have one where I worked. Used it for all kinds of things. We mounted it to a table. You have to kind of hold the item to keep it straight.

Maybe you should make a jig to hold the tube for you then.762frmafr wrote:I am only a one man shop.kbenz wrote:One person on the roller and one keepin it straight

I cut a shim that fits on each side of the top roller. Use 16ga and clean the edges real good and work both shims in at the same time. I'll post the drawing later.

Re: Harbor Freight tubing roller
You need to make sure when you put your rollers in that they are aligned perfectly with each other, and shim them with washers to make sure they don't move... that's why they make corkscrews. I can roll a ring of 1" tube that comes right together on the ends, as a matter of fact, I usually have to push them past each other to get the diameter I'm looking for.
Also I built my own roller that's the best one you'll find anywhere! LOL!
