I was able to achieve success editing the original posted dxf file with LightBurn, exporting as dxf, and importing to SheetCam. I tried several different combinations of operations in LightBurn. These included combinations of Close selected paths with tolerance, auto join selected shapes, and Auto group. I will need to go back and try to recreate the exact order I applied these tools in. In any case, I was able to get a usable file.

I went back to take a look and here is how I edited the original dxf file using LightBurn to produce a result that will work with SheetCam.
