TORCH DRAGS WHILE CUTTING

Post by SAWMILL »

I am having a problem with the torch slightly dragging on the metal while cutting. I am cutting 14ga. I do believe my plasma setting are right. Using fine cut consumables @ 40 amps Pierce ht is .015 started cutting at .06 did change to .09. Still dragging. cut is not bad, just have to clamp metal down and hope for the best

Always adjust the voltage until the cut is at the recommended height...which in this case should be .06"
