First logo project (excavator)

Post by BrayD »

My brother runs a small excavation business and his birthday was this past weekend. I surprised him with his logo in metal form.

Huge thanks to David and everyone here for helping me through my software issues as I was getting the table up and running. I've been using it a lot lately for projects in the shop. Game changer for plate work for sure.

Sketched from a low quality jpeg in Inkscape, imported into Sheetcam, and cut on my antique Torchmate 2 table. Far from perfect, but he was impressed!

BrayD - very nicely done! This will look even better once you get it painted.

Nice work always good to see the look on someone's face when you give them something you have made. Here is a post from the past showing layered works and a tutorial on how to do things in Inkscape for the project. Help you expand your learning.
