The master, evil plan is to design things and print them. I must LEARN Fusion360 now.

I have four 3D printers, and three of them are just plain 'YUGE!

I want to print modified body parts for motorcycles, boats, custom dashes for custom cars, etc. etc. I wanted a LARGE capacity 3D printer, but these machines...

Now I can literally print LARGER, redesigned storage compartments for touring motorcycles, custom center consoles for cars, overhead consoles for trucks and vans, and a lot more.

18 lasers and 4 3D printers ... I think I will be forced to build a wing onto the FrankenBarn.

Dang! I really need to learn Fusion360 QUICKLY. Or ... I could find someone I am willing to pay, to create the build files.

Those are some big items to print! Fusion is pretty easy to pick up on, once you get the basics its smooth sailing. I can certainly help if you need. Find some good videos on sketching in Fusion, Autodesk puts out the best vids with no fluff I find. Once you can sketch you can extrude, once you extrude you can 3d print, and at that point it will get exciting.

Sell some of the stuff on your signature list and you can solve some of your problems. Including not having to add to the barn, and maybe help with the 3rd item from the bottom. It seems you're going the wrong direction. Maybe stay off the auction sites for a while. JMO

Plasmanewbie - Arnold Rowntree has some of the best Fusion 360 tutorial lessons for beginners that I have seen. I worked thru his original set of these tutorials several years back when I was making the transition from SolidWorks to Fusion 360.



Kevin also has some very good tutorials for beginners.

Yep! For a person with a memory that doesn't fizzle out while walking from one room to another, I'll bet they are dandy!

I have started into the Fusion360 tutorials four times now. I understand them, and easily follow the directions and get great results. My problem is, I walk away from the computer for a week or two, and then ... ... it is all BRAND NEW to me again, as if I had never seen the software before. This is why I force myself to use DesignEdge every single day. So I do not forget how to use the software. If I walked away from it for a couple of months, it would all be lost. That is just something I live with. That is my reality. It is really frustrating at times. The movie, "50 First Dates" is almost a biography.

Right now, I have to run up to Bowling Green. My local branch of my bank closed down a couple of days ago. Now, when I need to deposit CASH, or do a wire transfer, I have to drive 50 miles to do it. I will be moving my accounts to a local bank soon.

i have to run up to do a wire transfer for the two 3D printers I won the other day, and then pack up and head down to 'Bama to go get them! ROAD TRIP!
