Doesn't "coin" the material like an air scribe

Cool feature that I was not aware of, but I just realized that the easyscriber doesn't coin or dish the material when scribing. I suppose since it doesn't actually displace material like a pneumatic scribe and only marks the surface. I remade a plaque for a local public school because the original one was stolen. Basically the tree of life image with donor names around the outside done on 1/8" stainless steel disc and the original was dished out around 1/8" deep. Did the new one with my easyscriber and it was perfectly flat still. Another bonus on top of being silent during operation. Love it

Cuttinparts - I will look forward to seeing some photos of your project. I have an Easyscriber that I bought several years ago, but still haven't used it. I suppose I'm just waiting for the right project to come along.
