Trouble shoot Plasmacam - will not recognize the machine

I have a plasma cam That will not recognize the machine. We have checked everything and even have talked to plasma cam with no results

okay ... Start by telling me which PlasmaCam you have. What is the table model? do you have the older DHC2 4x4, or the Samson 510, or a Go Torch machine that uses the parallel cable? Or do you have the new GENESIS table that uses WiFi?

Have you tested your parallel card and cable to make sure they are not defective or have a loose connection? Plasmacam tech support is usually pretty good about helping diagnose problems. You can also post to the Plasmacam Owner's Community forum where you may find help.

I like to do on-site troubleshooting whenever possible.

Where are you LOCATED, Jim?

Since Plasmacam is of no help, I must assume that you do not have a NEW table. Are you trying to get an old DHC or a 98-Z table running? What software are you using? Do you have DesignEdge, or are you using the older PlasmaCAM 3.xx software?
