no freakin way, just so happens I have a mixer that was left behind when I bought the house, thanks for the pro tip.
Welcome aboard Toasterman12! You could try sand to see if it makes a difference (or not). I used to tumble my brass using cobmeal grit mixed with Brasso. It worked great. I haven't personally tried the cement mixer approach on plasma cut parts. If you try it , be sure to let us know how it works for you.toasterman12 wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 4:50 amno freakin way, just so happens I have a mixer that was left behind when I bought the house, thanks for the pro tip.
would sand benefit as a medium for descaling or not worth the effort?
It can't hurt to try sand, I know some guys who don't put any media in...just steel on steel.toasterman12 wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 4:50 amno freakin way, just so happens I have a mixer that was left behind when I bought the house, thanks for the pro tip.
