I had an extra set of Torchmate/Flashcut CNC electronics on hand, and decided to use them to control the turntable on my O gauge train layout. There are probably better ways of doing it, but I have a separate one-line file to move and align the turntable with each track.
The train table framework is made up entirely of 8020 aluminum extrusions.

That's really using your imagination. Great job!! My neighbor collects vintage electric trains, so I will most definitely have to show him your setup.
