Future changes include adding a manual back gauge like this one
https://metalmaq.shop/en/home/388-manua ... -5002.html
Or building my own like it. The hole in the bottom plate is to run the handle of the back gauge through so you can adjust it from the front.
Pros of the build
-Bada$$ brake for under $3k
Cons
-Its really REALLY slow. This might bother me if we were doing production runs of parts but we are a small R&D shop so we will mostly use it for one-offs. Might be able to speed it up by running larger air lines to the jacks.
-Hard to keep all 3 jacks moving down level. Once you get the die close to the part you have to adjust the release valves to level the die so they hit the part evenly. I will add a small level to the top of the die to make that adjustment easier.
Overall, cant beat it for the price.

Very nice setup was the assembly info with the Swag Finger Brake, of what that your idea. Not sure if it was posted here or on a welding site but the guy used a cantilevered assembly with a single Hydraulic cylinder. It was here

I built one very similar this past winter and have noticed the same cons. But well worth it for the money.
