Looks like a paint shaker with a tub made for the top.

I went to the website and that's an expensive piece of equipment. $3K for the small one... Building one from scratch looks daunting, especially that large. I wouldn't have space either, but it should would be a nice piece of equipment to have for smaller items, but I think a machinist would have more actual need than someone doing what I do on a day to day.
