sheetcam importing to small for some reason??

Curious if anyone else has ever had this issue. happened once before and seemed to fix its self. Only happens on full sheet programs to me. Got a crap load to cut a full sheet and for some reason when bringing to sheetcam it is shrinking everything from 95"x 46" to about 1.5" x 3". Have no clue why. Using a dxf file from corel x4. Fixing to try opening in corel x7 and see if i resave if it fixes. So much on it sheetcam doesnt want to open the svg file for some reason. Just curious if anyone else has ever ran into this before. thank you

Sounds like it might be importing it as metric.
Have you checked the scale?

Thank you sir yes it was. Seen it and came back to post it..lol..thank you and have no clue why it went back to metric crap. Even my svg import side went back to 1:25 factory setting instead of 1:1 hopefully someday this helps someone else

LOL ...... after years of working in the automotive industry, my MIND tends to go back and forth from SAE to metric.

I have had problems with SheetCam not saving setting and when I go in to do another drawing things are not what I had set it to. This is manly with tool setting for the arc voltage. I just check it each time when I go in when starting new jobs. I have save the tool file and default setting many times but they do not hold. When ever there is an up-date things seem to revert back also that may be where your's changed back too.

i wish we'd just convert to metric myself
i can do 10s in my head easy enough
not so good with 12s, 16s, 32s, ft, yds, lbs and ozs

is what you call "American" the same as the old english system of fractions and thou's

we changed back in the seventies, it was a real PTA to start with trying to work between english and metric but once you get used to it its great
Like Ogre says doing the numbers is real simple when its all in tens
Cant be that many countries left in the world that are still using feet & inches most of the auto industry is now metric
even the thread system is easy just one format no more BSF, Whitworth, BA, UNC, UNF threads just metric
honest its not that bad a deal to go metric

Only my opinion as having worked with both systems I just prefer the simple option

You guys are funny when was the last time you programmed your machine in 16ths or 32nd ???? You ARE working in tenths in the decimal system. The bad part about Working in MM is the HUGE numbers you end up working with. And yes I have worked in both since teh 60's .

I too started school with imperial but metric came in as the standard so I learnt both.

It did make a difference though, I used to weigh 220 pounds but thanks to metric now I'm only 100 kilo's. I used to struggle to walk 5 miles but now I do 8 kilometers, it always seemed hot at 100 degrees but 36 doesn't sound so bad and my car that used to go 100 miles an hour now does 180 kph. The best part was the hundred pound I had in the bank became 200 bucks.
